Introduction
Hello! This website was made by one of Mrs. O'Lare's honors biology students. I personally never went on a creek trip but I am interested in them because we are monitoring what kind of chemicals are in the water. We are looking at the overall health of the water and the results usually show what kind of condition our community puts the creek in. The website will be giving some information about things like what is around the creek, some data, and my hypothesis. But one question i asked myself throughout this process is, Do you think the temperature effects the pH.

Location
The creek is located on Thompson run road. This is in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Near the creek are things like the Allegheny airport, Pittsburgh Post Gazette(a distribution center), and a Shop n Save.
Do you think the temperature effects the ph balance in the creek?Yes, the temperature effects the creeks pH levels.Overall the creek ha had higher pH levels in present years than it used to. In the past the pH got as low as around 6.8 and the high was 8.1. The temperatures in the past where also generally lower too! But in the present years the pH levels have generally been higher. The low is also 6.8 but the high is 8.5. The temperature in recent years have been higher than in the past too!
